Ultimately, financial stablility is the primary goal of this project. Gaining the skills to land a job making at least $10.00 per hour and being able to support your family is something that the WDP can help you achieve.
In order to be a part of the WDP you must have a high school diploma or GED.
Once you have been accepted, you will meet with your Case Manager to identify any barriers to success.
Vocational testing will be completed and an appropriate learning center is chosen. A Vocational Plan will be completed.
You will attend the learning center of your choice to complete your vocational training.
You will enter in a job search and gain employment while keeping in contact with your Case Manager.
You Graduate! Your Case Manager will conduct an exit interview and remain in contact for at least 6 months. |

Funding for Job Search and Support
A steady, reliable source of income for men and women is the focus of the NWPEP. Getting you in the door and helping you stay there is something that the NWPEP can help you accomplish.
If you do not have a high school diploma or GED the NWPEP can give you referrals to resources that will help you obtain one.
Once you have been accepted, you will meet with your Case Manager to identify any barriers to success.
A Case Plan will be developed for job preparation. You will write a resume, complete a master application and practice interviewing.
You will enter in a job search, find a job that meets your immediate needs, and become employed.
Your Case Manager will stay in contact with you for your first year of employment to ensure job retention.
You Graduate! Your Case Manager will conduct an exit interview and stay in contact for up to 6 months. |
